    have you got the chain on, if you have p aligned with the correct hole in engine block both valve lobes on no1 should be pointing down

    rtv is fine aslong as both surfaces are oil free,wipe down with brake clean or thinners first

    yes to both and use some stud lock on the conrod studs, bottom bearing shell on mains is likely to be most worn top on conrod

    jack one front wheel up with g/box in n,and using a brace on the wheel nut try and turn the wheel

    rolling the truck off the loader wouldnt have effected box at all, not having both props on was your problem
