Wow, I'd never be expecting to be replacing items like that on such a new car ! I've done them on my 16 year old Range Rover & 20 year old Discovery 2 - where they've obviously seen a lot of use. How old is your Discovery 5 ? Has Land Rover parts quality / design deteriorated even more ?

The OP is after the bulkhead between the front seats & load area on a D2 Commercial I think. The likely option is to look on eBay - but I don't think the D2 Commercial bits come up very often

I think there's a place called RCP near Southam that make their own chassis sections and fit them. A friend used them a couple of years ago and said they were good. They were on Facebook.

YRM do some nice galvanised versions at reasonable prices

it's worth inspecting the mechanism inside the door to check for loose / broken parts as the next phase might be the glass dropping into the door / staying down. Not great when it's raining and you want park the car - lol.

6 sided socket with a couple of extension bars from above always works for me on the turret nuts. 6 sided socket on the damper bottom bolts too, but with 3/8 drive Ratchet to get the through springs (vehicle lifted to extend springs as far as possible)

They must be interchangeable. The lights are also swoppable.

The original equipment RR camera is a pitifull design & stupidly expensive & badly made - at least until the much newer cars (>2010 ??) They often fail due to bad connections between the internal circuit board & wiring. Sometimes the connections can be re-soldered, but they often don't last long...

The snap ring that disappeared from ours hasn't been found despite 3 subsequent oil changes over 5 or 6 years. Still feels & sounds OK - lol

That's not a D2, it's D1 / RR / Defender D2 front has the brake pipe bkt and more importantly has the shaped recess for the spring offset coil end. DLS in Wirksworth used to have them and Island4x4

D2s had the cdl internals until at least March 2001 vehicle build date. The sticker means nothing. I've seen all combinations of sticker & cdl on later D2s and there's minimal correlation - lol. Land Rover would fit whatever they had in the stores.

Lemforder were OE - but even they have different manufacturing plants. Hopefully all making the same quality to the same specifications I noticed the last pair I bought had an Eastern Bloc country name on the box, unlike other Lemforder joints and bushes I've bought over the years.

I'm sure I've had 15mm, 16mm & 17mm nuts on different ARB links over the years. Some of the threaded studs have had internal hex drive, others 2 flats & yet others with full hex. There's definitely no "standard" - lol

At least you didn't buy a Navarra - their chassis problems make Land Rover chassis rust issues look brilliant - lol
