You have a leak at the front of your air tank

Mine does not self level the headlights so to speak, it is however a check of the headlights height in relation to the cars height.....air suspension, self levelling blah blah . It takes 5 mins to pull the unit and check it.

It's fitted all right I had the exact same issue had me going around in circles for a while. My module sufferd water damage from a tiny leak top of the windscreen . They all have them fitted.

Looks like you have a canbus fault but what do I know. Seriously tho you mite want to look at the headlight self check leveling module it's located passenger side behind the left kick panel. Suffers from water damage/damp or just failure.

Replace the compressor a new 1 is less than £150 off the bay.

That's good news they have both been changed the aur tank usually leaks at the front causing the pump to run constantly until it finally fails. Still worth checking for leaks with the soapy water spray.

Weak pump and or a leak in the air tank both very common on the d3 and d4. Checking gallery pressure eith diag can help locate a fault if you indeed have one.

It's pretty simple on the m62 to be honest no nasty surprises. Just go to local motor factors and stick with their premium brand NOT ****part and get your self a spare gasket just incase.

If you didn't tell your car you fitted a new battery then it's most likley over charged and cooked it. The D4 has to be tolled a new battery has been fitted due to intelligent charging from the alternator.

Mot passed this week but did find an oil leaky which turned out to be from a damaged engine oil cooler fitted in front of the os frontcwheel with a silly bit of plastic to protect it :vb-groan2: Removed and repaired by local specialist as seen on wheeler dealers when it was good with the China.
