    Truck cab seat belts

Hi I have just fitted a truck cab to my series 3 and was wondering how anybody else has sorted the seat belts (bit of an afterthought). Is it possible to use 3 point inertia belts with a high mounting as per the hardtops, or do i need to stick with the fixed ones mounted on the bulkhead behind...

Where to start on a Series III?

You need to check that the chassis and bulkhead are solid first as these are the bits that rot the worst, and everything else bolts to them.

Have you got a servo? Might help a bit. Try overhauling with new shoes and slave cylinders first though

    Kerosene oil

Didn't think it was illegal if you paid duty on it! Yes you will need to mix it with diesel as it is less lubricating and on its own would shag your pump and injectors pretty quick.

New to the landy scene any advice about a Series III

Hi, chassis and bulkhead are the bits that rust badly so best to check them out thouroughly first. (i hope you are handy with a welder) As for the hood and hoops try ebay, exmoor trim, all wheel trim, craddocks etc.

    Which make of parabolics?

Hi, i'm thinking of fiting parabolics on my swb s3 to hopefully improve comfort when driving on road and forest tracks (i don't intend doing any serious off roading or trialling). I was wondering if there are any particular makes to avoid and which ones will be good for all round use?

    Weber Carb

Its a straight swap onto the manifold. From memory the fuel inlet and vacuum attachment are positioned slightly differently. The throttle linkage will line straight up. Just run the new cable and attach it on the same way. The weber is non standard so you won't see it mentioned in any manual...
