try L. R. Series - specialists in land rover, land rover series and range rover - gearbox, axle, transmission parts, spares and major units. They do series 3 and defender ones which might fit (about £1 each so worth a go)
Sounds like you could have a mix of metric and imperial unions ( not sure if or when land rover changed over though.

For the tank return pipe i remember there is a small diamond shaped plate near to the sender unit that i somehow fixed a short tube through (araldite or something) then jubilee clipped the return hose onto. Hope this helps a bit.
By the way, have you considered the engine mounts?
Bonnets are going for pennies on ebay so not worth repairing. As for the roof, it wont fit as the 110 uses a taller windscreen which encroaches into the front of the roof. Again there are plenty of good second hand 109" ones around.

Sounds like the master cylinder. Easy enough to replace, can be a bit of a bugger to bleed the air out. Try to avoid Britpart ones as the caps don't fit very well.
you need to use the series clutch. It should bolt straight onto the disco flywheel. Use all of the series release mechanism as well and all should be fine.
