while you're at it you could take a shot at cleaning the cd carrier/holder. mine was encrusted from years of close proximity to wet dog. (or try another cd holder and see if it makes any difference.)

OP you don't say if it worked previously. perhaps a previous owner has utilised the connection for an ipod?

thanks all think i've got it now. (after good nights sleep and all) 6 pin is for heated but non memory 10 pin is for (as above) with memory 12 pin is for (as above) with photochromic thanks wammers! (must learn to type faster)

hi first post so be lenient:) would someone kindly tell me the difference between 10 pin and 12 pin door mirrors? (am assuming its the photochromic gubbins but want to be certain) thanks
