    I have some gunk and a water pressure pump so i'll give that a go when i get to it, The rocker cover looks fine, i have an idea that there is a loose pipe or connection.

    Well i spent 6 hours today out in the rain, the rear axle is off. I used a hilty 22v battery gun and cracked a few bolts on some other stuff.....what a tool, shame i gota give it back....lol

    Thank to everybody on your replies. I have hired a hilty wrench gun at the coct of £50 for the week. Just tried it on two axles that have been in the garden and are well rusted after three years.....wow what a tool, there are only two bolts that i did not get off after using it on caliper...

    Cheers mate, Its just that put me p38 in the local garage because i couldn't undo the caliper bolts only to be told they were revers thread. Made me think is it the same on the disco's. I managed to find me haynes manual just now..... so i'll look in there. Once again cheers fellow landy lover.

    Hello, I'm about to remove the rear brake calipers from my disco 1, Would I be right in saying that the caliper bolts have a revers thread? As they are well rusted on I'm Gona use a wrench gun to remove them and don't fancy snapping the bolts, DOH Cheers

    Hello, Just taken off the rear springs of me Disco 1, they are 17" tall. What i would like to know is, and im sure one of you fine gentlemen will know the answer, Would these springs be a 2" lift or are they standard at 17" ? Cheers.
