    I got brit part 2" lift springs, after four months they look realy good and are still strong. Mind you they are in the box still....lol

    Left the drop arm bolt overnight and got it off...took about 10mins. Now the drop arm won't drop. Started at about 09:00 and gave up around 16:00, the feckers still on there. Here are some pics of the tools i used, plus a heat gun not in the photo.

    Hello. I cant find me disco1 manual and need t know torque setting for various bolts, so im wondering: is there a link on here for torque settings. 1990 discovery1 (j reg) I can then purchase the correct torque wrench. As soon as this hangover %$£" off.....lol

    Yes, i painted them after getting all the rust off zinc primer, red oxide then chrome colour. Before.

    Check with other calipers to see how they are fitted compaired to one your having a probem with. Or take the caliper off fit pads then see if it goes back together. Are the discks the same on both sides?
