It will work I'm 99% sure as it fits the same way provided it is same type Thor or gems it just might be a higher amperage due to the higher spec on the 4.6 however this will help keep the battery topped up.

Could the pulley on the viscous fan be incorrectly fitted or the incorrect pump which could affect alignment! The tensioner fits straight to the head and cannot be adjusted. The alternator and aircon pump are fixed forward and back as well as up and down!

If your early car has a lowline becm you need to fit additional wiring. The fog lamp kit comes with two switches and an extra loom which you use if yours has a lowline becm if it's a highline becm you don't use the loom in the kit! That's why you have no plug in the dash yours must be a lowline...
