Hello all I've been looking online and have found aluminium inlets for the discovery 3 to replace the original plastic ones but I can only find ones for the 3 liter. Does anyone know if land rover changed the inlet sizes for the 3 liter as I have the 2.7 tdv6?

Yes the original wiper arm , the motor had worn away at the hole. I did try to really tighten down on the wiper arm today and still no luck it just made an awful noise and didn't move.

Hello Not long after purchasing my discovery 3 about 5 months ago , the rear wiper packed up and stopped working so we bought a new motor which didn't work at first and then started working about a month after fitting it however the wiper arm would just flop down and make an awful buzzing/...

Well an update to the fault codes , we did all the steering gators , track rod ends and suspension arms. All fault codes have gone except the can bus error code. But for some reason the dashboard is still displaying hdc ,DSC and air suspension inactive.

It was at first a snap on diagnostic tool , then it was a professional garage tool as the snap on wouldn't access what we needed.

Air suspension doesn't work Hdc Dcs And the air-conditioning is blowing very warm. Everything else works sat nav , heated seats , steering wheel and mirrors ect.

Il take that as a no then 😂😂😂

Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone has ever done A V8 rear differential conversion on a 2.7 tdv6 to increase mpg. Would it be as easy as it was on an old rover P6 ? Cheers

We had it plugged in and codes cleared now some new codes have arrived regarding the same issue we had, (Can bus error and code 98) Does anyone have the code list?

It's irritating that something so simple can cause an air suspension fault

no, just stuck the new battery in and it started straight away, ( I forgot to mention the battery died yesterday)

Oh we are definitely keeping it, our 2002 discovery 2 got destroyed when someone decided to drive into us on a country road, the insurance money bought us this. Cheers everyone for the advice , this forum never lets me down.👍👍

That's fair , having the car plugged in tomorrow, hopefully this sorts the issues. Apart from the air conditioning there is very little wrong with this l322 and I do hope to get the car back to show room condition.

Haven't had the codes cleared but I did leave the battery off to do a hard reset. Still nothing

That's fair enough, ours did over 52 miles on the way home from purchasing it with no issues whatsoever, didn't over heat ,didn't smoke. It's only the typical air suspension inactive warning light that stayed on.

I had no idea that was even a thing on petrol cars. Cheers for that 👍
