yup sure would lerk my passenger rear door needs doing and ive been looking for the very same thing myself but not brave enough to take the plunge cos i need it every day :o:D

easy to sort out and cheap too :D when you do do it though lift the gear stick out its socket and check both plastic cups the big one that will be stuck to the gearstick and the one thet the gearstick goes through in the selector yoke ;)

ditto the above,but then it's not a hard or expensive job to replace,couple of hours tops and then you have piece of mind its done.

the grease wont be from your swivel's it will be from your bearings and yes there is a seal to replace at the back of the hub quite easy to do and quite cheep too i would check the condition of your bearings before you do anything as they might just re-greasing and adjusting,your swivle housing...

DV i spent ages searching to see if anyone had had the same problem as me and could'nt find anything :D but yes that is what was wrong with mine ive put a few pics on here but did'nt take any of the fitting unfortunatly wish i had now it could have been put in the common faults section:doh::D

yup it does sound like what sean said,but before you do commit to expensive rebuilds check these bits out first,your bias plate and springs and if all is ok there remove it and lift out the selector carefully and check that the selector yoke bush and the railko bush are in good order both are...

afternoon all, is there anywhere that sells a complete oem bush kit for a disco 300?

does anyone know of a part # catalogue for the r380 gearbox in a discovery 300tdi?

as far as i know lerk it still is but it's gated now due to what i said earlier people still live down there so i asume they have access as and when they need it.
