One thing I have just noticed is I am missing the rear most tub supports as shown on your chassis, I guess mine lost its ones the last time it had the crossmember changed. I may fabricate some if I can be bothered.

I unbolted the 10 bolts that connect it to the rear crossmember, the rear sections of sill covers need to come off, there are two bodywork braces just infront of the rear wheel arches, 8 bolts (4 on each side) connecting the tub to the outriggers just behind the seatbox, all (6?) bolts that...

Suspension grumbles, firstly my new rear shock absorders are weeping oil :mad: time to dig through my emails and find out who I bought them from. Secondly the britpart forwards rear suspension out riggers are naff, they come on a backing plate that sits flush with the side of the chassis rail...

I missed the bit about the engine conversion, sigh, one less 6 pot. The derv engine looks like a tight fit, bet it doesn't sound as good as the 2.6!

Well after my amazing dinner I set about cleaning and painting the rear axle, backplates and hubs. Part way through I went to get up to get something thinking I was clear of the bodywork...apparently I was not. After that small interruption I got there in the end, looks much better...
