    You'll find the front of the disco very pliable. Just drive it in to a wall. Try and get it square on. 30mph should do it, but if that's too short, just go a little slower, or go even faster if you want to shorten it a lot.

    Yes, it shouldn't move much at all. If you replace the innards you should really get it balanced by a proper turbo place. I'd just buy a second hand turbo!
