Unfortunately the gearbox has to be removed as Optimus Prime said to replace the clutch slave cylinder on the TD4, another feat of engineering genius from Landrover designers:mad::mad:

The W means the tyre is rated up to 168 mph ,I dont think you will exceed that in a Freelander so they will be OK :)

May be a hydraulic handbrake to lock all four wheels,dont know about the rubber hoses though?.Had something similar on a mini I used to rally many years ago but only locked the rear wheels.

It was the fuel pump ,fitted a new pump and filter today (wet n windy up ere in the hills) everything seems ok:) and after 03 td4s only have one fuel pump thanks for the advice:D:D

Yep it helps thanks,have you seen the price of the in tank pump ,they must be made of rhino horn,:(:(

The pump under the wheel arch runs continually ,I cant see any fuel leaks:)
