Ive owned my freelander for 2 years( 05 TD4 XEI) done nothing to it except oil and filter changes ,its just gone through its second MOT with no problems. I just thought someone should say something positive about freelanders for a change. :)

Just quoting the drivers handbook,page198,regarding softback canopy and hardback "Never use an automatic car wash or a high pressure hose"

5 door freelanders are ok for carwashes but not the 3 door models. remove the ariel on 5 door model first though.

All the tyres available for 225 55 17 are road bias tyres, if you want to fit any type of off road tyres you need to go to either 15" or 16" ,loads of options available at these sizes.

I have been given a set of alloys already fitted with new grabber 215 65 16 tyres off a 98 freelander and want to fit them on to a 2005 td4 .

Nobody knows the answer to this one then?:confused::confused:
