i don't think its engaging , i have tried all the ground checks and come away mildly confused about what should and shouldn't be turning , tested the light switch on the gearbox, which does work, but when i select it it doesn't come on at the dash, which leads me to believe it ain't happenening...

i have no problems with 70/30 veg oil mix in my 300tdi, although the oil i use is pure rapeseed. Which seemed to be highly recommended after searching forum. Sean what is an IP seal?

is this true?, no sarcasm?? i'm thinking about getting a 90 or 110 pre tdi and running it on alternative fuel, as i can't afford the TDI version, and i want to keep the disco too.

main dealer gave me mtf and recommended it as new LR specified oil w/ improved viscosity , its a land rover /texaco product, probably within dexII/ATF standard range. You'll find loads of different opinions and preferred choices, i recommend the MTF from experience, but i had other things to do...

I have to locate and inspect the fuel pump on my fathers 2005 td4 FL, can't seem to locate anything relevant to this model in the RAVE i have, seems to only detail models 'til 2003 , was there a later edition covering the later cars? or does anyone have silmilar documentation? Thanks.
