Ended up combining both bits of advice. Drilling the bolt out didn’t break the weld but did allow me to shorten it enough to be able to lift the rear tub(?) enough to knock it out. I’ve then fitted a larger bolt straight through to fit my bracket, which is now sitting nicely. Just need to...

No, I’m attempting to fit one of these brackets to reattach the rear seatbelt.

Part way through a job and I’ve come to this. The nut won’t move (may need splitting or heating) and the bolt doesn’t turn. I’m assuming this is a moveable bolt and not a permanent fixture. Can anyone confirm? In my hand you’ll see what snapped off from the underside without too much pressure...

If it’s fitted correctly why is it a concern becoming part of the MOT? Also, I could technically remove for the MOT and refit right?

I’ve recently bought an older style forward facing loc and fold seat. While I’m waiting on a seatbelt bracket I was just checking the positioning of the seat. Am I roughly in the right place here, shown in the photos? Any other advice on fitting this before I embark?
