    Pl Leeaaassee not the cambelt

Normally, with a broken cam chain or belt, engine spins alot faster as there is no compression from the pots whose valves are stuck open. Of course, if you can see the camshaft through the oil filler, you will be able to see it spinning if the chain is ok and stationary if snapped ! :hurt:

    Radio Hack

Hi, sorry, I had the Becker Sat/Nav/Harmon Kardon installation which was a straight conversion  Surely they must have just picked up/created a switched +12v supply from their head unit and passed it through one of the spare connections either in the power connector (ie not the speaker...

All you need to power your unit is +12v switched, +12v constant and earth/ground. They are all presented in the plug to the LR units. You might need a converter loom. ebt

Interested to know why you did this ? I simply installed my Blaupunkt bluetooth head unit and utilised the existing wiring (at line level output) to drive the system.

    Bolt to intake manifold loose

Hmmm.....not the faintest. I'd probably go and buy a new one from LR as it will be full size and have any knurling etc in new condition. I wouldn't have thought they were heat shrunk into hole, but possibly. (If you think so, put it into a deep freezer !)

I want to fit puddle lights to my 06 td4

These need to be wired into the same circuit as the internal lamp, so that they come on when the car is unlocked (as you walk towards it and use your fob) so you can see if there's a puddle. Are you sure that the FL1 carries that circuit to the doors ? PS and advice, go to the intro section...
