    parabolics on ex-MOD 109

I think I will take MigGames advice and just do what i can to loosen up the existing springs. Replacing the springs seems like more effort than i should spend on improving something that works when i still have a lot of other more pressing issues to attack. (sound deadening, rear seat locks...

    parabolics on ex-MOD 109

Having a Santana just complicates things. The truck was clearly military use, but i don'tthink it was the actual military model. is the a "Vin" decoder or something to give me the skiny? e59705803

    parabolics on ex-MOD 109

I am looking into a suspension upgrade for my 109 it is a military model though it is a Santana and came to me (from Spain) with the U.S. 1st Cavalry emblem on it, which seems odd. Anyway when talking to the folks at Rocky Mountain Products about their parabolic springs they mentioned it was...

    Diesel Fuel sending unit adjustment

Just replaced the sending unit in the fuel tank and while the sending unit clearly works better than the old all or nothing unit it only reads up to just over half filled. I think the float is at the top of the tank and so i just need to bend/shorten the horizontal section of the float arm...

    Brake Bleeding

i was trying to save a little money but it seems i will need to replace the master cylinder and brake servo. I just hope that clears it up. Also, she shook a wire loose in the dash last night and caught fire. It was all terribly exciting. Burnt the hell out of my hand, and now i have to go in...

    Brake Bleeding

Is such a pain. I know it has been beaten to death but going through every proceedure to get rid of this squishy pedal and it's frustrating as hell. I replaced the from wheel cylinders and shoes, surfaced the drums by .003, replaced the flex lines which were looking rough. I got her all...

    Thermostat Help

i had the same issue, though mine was a conversion and the guage and sender missmatch. What let me know that was. . touching the heater hose when the guage was pegged. and realising that though it was hot, it was not boiling hot . . .

    biodiesel seris 2 - 200tdi

For the record i don't mean this in any insulting kind of way. My wife and i have considered moving to Scotland and insurance and tax differences are some of the intimidating parts of a move like that.

    biodiesel seris 2 - 200tdi

yeah that's my choice. full coverage with $500 deductibles was £481/ year. Helps i have older cars. .

    biodiesel seris 2 - 200tdi

In the U.S. miles driven has very little affect on insurance costs and no affect on coverage. I insure 4 cars for my wife and I with liability coverage for basically unlimited miles for about £285/ year

    biodiesel seris 2 - 200tdi

in my opinion running biodiesel in an old diesel engine is a pretty bad idea. The impurities in the fuel (even well made fuel) will eventually eat the rubber seals in your injection pump (viton seal in newer equipment resists this). I would suggest isntead running vegoil/diesel mixed. just vary...
