I put in a new parking sensor which quickly stopped working. It’s part number YDB500311PMA and is a bit ‘L’ shaped The first one I bought is a different part number, was pretty much straight and didn’t fit. I bought it before removing the old one. And then I managed to break it anyway...

Just hope it works longer than the parking sensors I fixed….

I have just bought a Gates thermostat to fit and now I am wondering if it’s worth doing? My TD4 stays low temperature but tbh it has never really bothered me that much, just thought it might be a good idea…?

Changed the air filter as had one I bought earlier. Cleaned up the engine a bit, cleaned the injector and hpfr sensor and sealed them with dielectric grease. Seems to keep it happy

It looks in the pictures like he has unscrewed the bit from the engine. So cut the clip off and leave the plastic bit in place? Ta

I expect you are right. It doesn’t seem right to have a 2wd 4wd but I have taken mine off as I have got to do the bearings and I may as well do the UJ’s at the same time. If the car decides to behave itself and work for a while with nothing else falling off or going wrong I will put it back on...
