    Freelander TD4 2005

His name was Frosty before November 5 but a change felt appropriate. More of a dog person myself. And yes, you gtta love blowing stuff up. That's all there is to it. Not cats obviously before anyone goes mental.

    Freelander TD4 2005

I thought about that but the wife has taken away all fire within 40 metres of the house privileges since November 5 and the unfortunate incident with Toastie the cat. But I love that jigsaw; cut a couple of lines Inside the bush then chisel and ball pein hammer out in 5 mins easy! Stupid cat.

    Freelander TD4 2005

Yes, poly bushes in and not really too much grief getting old ones out. Hardest was the front of course which was the totally toasted one as the pictures show. I couldn't remember how to get old out of mounts at first but remembered the joys of my jigsaw and after getting the first one done I...

    Freelander TD4 2005

Thanks Nodge; that's what I thought so I will swap them round today. I replaced the VCU and bearings last November which was all good, apart from none of my really helpful friends or family turning up to help hold it up when replacing it. Don't know whereabouts you are but I'm going to Beaulieu...

    Freelander TD4 2005

Thanks I do like this car, about the first car I have ever enjoyed owning. Nodge; are you saying swap front to rear and rear to front to even put wear and protect drivetrain etc? I have not swapped them yet but was thinking about the tyres the other day. They were a complete matching new set...

    Freelander TD4 2005

Yes I thought that looked tricky the grommet shove. Is that as in the little pictures on the passenger side under the engine fuse box? Also, bought a soft top from a lovely couple who have sold their TD4 FL and have an enormous Disco 3litre small house on wheels! Really good top, and putting it...

Wow you have seen and held the mythical load space brackets and are prepared to part with them? What riches could reward you for such rare and precious artefacts of accessories of yore?

Freelander 1 Alloy sump guard/ undertray

No, I can see that you will have no need for light pods with that bar!! I am not very confident at wiring, comes from early experiences with British motorcycles and being colour blind so never been my thing really

Freelander 1 Alloy sump guard/ undertray

I think you're right about the slim silencer. I have the MOT this month so may get that done first to see if anything else needs doing then look into silencer. So Muddy Mods was it? Also; driving light pods came yesterday: all there; all LR genuine £26.60 on EBay and does look ok to fit...

Freelander 1 Alloy sump guard/ undertray

That sounds like something I would like to do but what does that involve? I think it was your sump guard I pretty much copied Alibro btw thanks dude I was using 3 mm chequer plate and bent the end up using a large diameter scaffold pole and generally applying weight (mostly me) on the curve. I...
