The fuel cap I have No idea! But radio and lights I do as had the same problem. In a discovery the radio and interior lights work on the same fuse. Which is stock normally a 5 AMP but if you look on the back of your radio it probably has a 10 AMP so you need to locate the radio and lights...

With mine I just carefully got a angle grinder and cut a slit across them all then an old wheel nut and welded flat peice of metal to it. It was like a massive Flat headed screw driver! Was fiddly though!
