I have pumped the mechanical fuel pump by hand and filled a 5 litre can with it, then replaced the fuel with 5 litres of Super, there wasn't a lot in the tank, that was about a month ago, it pumps by hand as it should, resistance followed by slackening once pressurised.

I have pumped the fuel pump by hand and filled a fuel can by doing it, perhaps the mechanical side of it isnt working, is it a common failure point. I'll whip it off and have a look, willbi have to empty the tank to remove the pump, not a lot of fuel in there at the moment.

I had both black and red wires going to +ve and the white wire from the ignition going to -ve, schoolboy error, they are now correctly orientated with ted and white to +ve and black to -ve, she's still not starting, i may have to...

Hi all, I have tested my coil and am a bit unsure of the readings I am getting, primary is 3.2 Ohms, Secondary is 10.27 k Ohms both sides, my leads are 0.2 Ohm, subtracted it looks about right, also the oil inside is sloshing about a bit, no leaks that I can see. Is this about right.
