Think this is the oil pressure switch behind the oil filter on my pre facelift D2 td5. The black wire is not attached to anything, no warning light etc, where should it be and is it a problem? Cheers.

With the weather over the last 8 months who knows but there was no indication of such, hidden sludge etc the airbox was clean as a whistle but the bottom duck bill was missing which should be at the bottom and through the inner front wheel arch, I suspect thats how it got in..

Enough to think I'd bought a lemon and without a Nancom it was time for the Sherlock Holmes hat and follow simple clues like... water in the airbox bottom and a very damp air filter... So having owned a few D2's you'd think I'd know better 😏 I managed to convince myself I have an issue with the front or rear prop or maybe the rear doughnut etc. Just to prove we can all be paranoid and fall to look at the obvious a bloody heat shield fallig off 😅 shame the video wouldn't upload...

Since you asked me that question I realise its more like a shudder at low speed from the front not rear. Recently had a LOF clutch installed, all front ball joints and brake discs, calipers etc.. I'm now suspecting the front prop. Its not a violent shudder but its definitely there so I'll see...
