Evening all I am trying to find a way of preventing the latch actuator separating from the lock hook. Is it a part that is available or do I need to buy a new latch actuator?

Got the window to wind up by removing the casing on the motor and exposing the windings. Put a cordless drill on the centre shaft and having worked out which way to wind it I used the drill to spin the shaft and up went the window. 👍🏻👍

All sorted. No idea what the problem is/was but having spent nearly all day dismantling,testing ,thread reading etc I decided just to put it all back together. Everything now works. It’s some kind of Freelander witchcraft 😂😂

All done. Don’t know what the issue was but put everything back together having spent hours dismantling everything and hey presto everything works as it should. Must be some kind of witchcraft😂😂

I have already managed to get the door card off.The proclem is that the window has powered into the open position and i cant get it to go up.Is there a way of powering up the window mechanism using a seperate battery onto the rear of the motor.If so what terminals do I need to feed.

I had the same issue.If you get in the boot and use a tool to lift the corner of the door card clear of the lip you can remove the whole thing by sliding your finger under the top of the card.To open the door i used another battery and used it to feed power to the actuator terminals (purple and...
