Great !!! :mad: It looks like who owned it before me has seen the gasket leak and rather replace it has just over tightened the housing screw !! Hence the crack. I've found a couple of aliminium welding firms so I think I'll give them a go before dropping £300 on a complete unit. All...

Noticed a lot of rust coloured deposits on the oil cooler. A quick clean & bleeding the coolant through showed up that the gasket had gone. To make things worse it showed up a hairline crack in the aliminium housing itself with the coolant seeping through !!!! It's an 02' csw. I've exhausted...
