I just checked it again : the circle at the top of the cylinder is thicker than the rest, probably the fact that the piston does not work on the upper part...

Are you sure ?? My compressions were good before stripping.

I notice a ridge (i can feel it easily with my finger) on all the rigth bank cylinders (first picture), and none on the left bank ...i cant explain this difference...the 8 cylinders where rebuild 10 years ago...

I cleaned the head pistons. All the cylinders are like that with no marks on the top.

Je suis un peu déçu de ce cylindre : j'ai une rayure verticale, pas une rainure mais plutôt une épaisseur ; un morceau de mon arbre à cames qui s'est détaché et a fondu ?? dois-je le poncer avec un papier de verre 800 ?
