Morning folks, my TD5 has sprung a coolant leak from the core plug on the head that sits semi obscured by the manifold. Is there advice or guides for removing the manifold and changing/re-seating the plug? many thanks Ben:)

I checked the new Mahle housing against the OE one and all the valves etc were pre-fitted in the correct place :)

So Ive fitted the new Mahle fuel filter housing as the old ones metal had fatigued and the casting snapped. I fitted the new one and followed the bleeding process. Started first time and runs perfect. Got home no diesel leaks at all. However if I leave her for a bit and start her she stalls...

Cheers James. I assume the new Mahle One comes with all the connectors/valves pre fitted? I Couldn’t believe how easily the brackets snapped. At first I thought it was brittle plastic however realised its metal. :-(

Cheers, the fact that there is 1 common leak point on these systems makes me want to swap out that 1 hose and as the system is currently empty it seems a perfect time to do it. Can any one advise on the part number?

I’ve got then Captain Tolleys now however I think I may have found the culprit... looks like Theresa hole in the corner as per technical bulletin provided earlier. I’m assum this allows the water to sneak down the a post inside?

Looking at the technical bulletin is it possible to apply waterproof silicone without touching the seal. I’m conscious that trying to bend the seal may damage it and the potential ingress point has to be on the lower part of the corner as that is where the gutter exits. Assuming it is the water...
