    freelander overheating

    i have a slight problem with my freelander1.8 petrol the temperature gauge fluctuates between normal and red even when car has only been driven a few yards from cold .also the expansion tank empties but when the cap on the tank is opened the tank fills back up with water.can anyone enlighten me...
