Not sure you'll get away with replacing the sensor. Usual opinion is to change the hub in one unit (I've done 5!!)

Mine has always (occasional) hissed and buzzed once switched off. It's just "settling down". I'd be looking into the bongs on start up- that's not normal afaik. Silly question- do you park on even ground or a slope? Could effect the thought process of a D2 7 seater.

Changed my gearbox oil with that one (from them) Feb 2013 and it's been fine. Would recommend it and them!

Save your money for when things actually break down. Preventative maintenance is good, but that sounds far too excessive and even slightly risky!

You HAVE to get the one recommended for a Disco2 or the insurance is void. If you're rear ended an incorrect one could go through the fuel tank and torch the car!

I'd say that's your garages issue to sort, they didn't need to touch the sensor. I'd ask them to rectify and then never use them again as they clearly have no idea what they're doing! Changing hub is diy, (plenty of guides about) and is an hour MAX, especially for a garage

Re no3 question. If it has air suspension (all D2 7 seaters had air) then it makes brrrrr noises and sometimes hisss's etc after switch off (especially if you take something heavy out the back after stopping) this is the suspension settling itself and is normal. Re the rest- it will make noises...
