That's something I didn't know. I had the idea they were not interchangeable. To be honest I'm plucking up the courage to order a Bulkhead. This one could be repaired, but to do it properly will mean stripping it down to the point where it's not much more work to change it. Discuss.......

If the noise comes and goes with the clutch pedal (when stationary) 1st Motion shaft bearing/ layshaft bearings. The mainshaft is not rotating when stopped, so can't be making the noise. Gearbox overhaul time????
