it will go on as i bought the prop but the garage I use are booking late december early January

Iam in no rush to put it on would get me garage I use to put it on, as there popular would not be untill late december early January, we do live out in the "sticks" so to speak, also i had to buy the prop so I will have to try it out sometime

As you all Know(I think) when I bought my 2005 freelander the drivers window was not working requiring a new regulator which I replaced bit of a job getting the regulator round door locking mechanism bolted it all together tested it fine, Then a day or so down the line just as the window lowers...

Thankyou the clutch was changed before i got the vehicle and no mention of iRD

would I be right in assuming if My Freelander 1 has a recent clutch fitted The "IRD" would have had fresh oil put in?

They would work for me as Iam only 4ft 3inches (hobbit size)😊 I have ordered a set of normal side steps to replace these ones On another subject Nodge would I have to remove inner door handle to remove the door lock or can I remove it working through theopenings in the door?

I assumed as when chap operated windows passenger front and drivers window all the way down and backup as he sat in the car he may have operated old fob I did not see but after window had came back up it was then inner door handle drivers side stopped everything works as it did before apart...

As yet have not removed outer handle to look inside the door going by sound (sounds like something happening) and feel if you stick your hand in the door as you operate inner handle it feels like there is movement
