I believe 1998-2002 have diff lock but no stick to engage them (this is what mine has) so you have to get under with a spanner to turn it on 2003 doesn’t have a cdl at all and 2004 has the full system similar to the D1s someone please correct me if I’m wrong

Thanks but it’s not that it’s not engaged on the stick I’m saying something is broken and is not allowing it to engage despite being in the correct position. I use low range a lot so I know when the stick is in the correct position

Update Problem seems to be fixed after making some room in the engine bay I ran my 2 battery’s in parallel (I didn’t want to spend the money for a bigger one) and I have had that running for about 6 hours of driving with no problems. Thanks to everyone for the help and I hope this will help...

I put a new battery in it today hasn’t seemed to help
