Currently building my discovery 2 trayback and i plan on removing the inner and outer wings and building it out of tube. I have relocated everything except the fuse box abs module and just can’t figure out what to do with them anyone got any ideas ?

Even without moving the ecu I’ve have had my d2 deep enough that I have had to go fully underwater to get to a recovery point and only problem I’ve ever had was water getting into the fuel tank and my filter got sucked up so I feel as long as the bcu and ecu stay dry everything should be...

Anyone ever moved the bcu on a d2 to a higher location? and anyone got any tips on water proofing the td5 so far I have snorkel, extended breathers, ecu relocation

Hi all I’m soon going to start the trayback build on my td5 d2 1999 anyone have access to the mot criteria? As I wish to keep it road legal. Alternatively anyone have any experience in road legal traybacks with any advice.

Considering doing a trayback build on my d2 this summer I have little fabrication skills anyone got any advice for me ?

So I could fit 4 inch shocks on a 2 inch lift I would just need dislocation cones a possibility brake lines

Hi all On my last disco I always just ran a 2 inch lift and 2 inch shocks. On my new one I’m looking for some more flex but I don’t want to lift it more than 2 inches because of all the extra costs. So is it possible to run for example 4 inch travel shock on a 2 inch lift. ?

So a may 01 is unlikely to have the cdl bolt on the transfer box ?

So do all pre facelifts have the cdl but no linkage or do some not have it at all

I’m going to look at a disco tomorrow it’s a fair ways away and I’m not really interested if it doesn’t have a cdl. It’s a 03 without the linkage is this model likely to have the cdl just not linkage because from my understanding 03 rarely have cdls.

Probably more likely scrap which is sad because you don’t see many v8 manuals but there is just not much worth saving on it

I own a discovery 2 v8 with a r380 in it which no longer works. I have a spare lt77 lying around anyone know if it will fit. I have heard very mixed answers any help would be much appreciated.
