you can run 235's on a disco, in fact some models have 235's as standard but if you are trialing you may want to change the wheels too. The simple steel wheels available have a geater offset than landrover wheels and give little more lock. The ALRC rules allow up to 4" offset, standard wheels...

So I've had the Disco a month now, done the clutch, timing belt, water hoses and yesterday the right hand front swivel, but until today i haven't driven it further than Tesco and back. :( My missus was nagging to go out so I took the Disco up to Ashbourne and around that area, over 200 miles...

It does say on the plate, quiet clearly. "FLYWHEEL SIDE"... I would believe that over the Haynes manual anyday... Lesson learnt... must say, many must have done it over the years though.. At least you know how to get the clutch off, :D

They changed the lights on the 300 so basicly its only a 200 that fits your bill. Radiator, i dont know. but with a couple of grand to spend are you really that worried about the cost of the lights. I'll have the 200tdi rad of you LOL :lol:

Well I went out with the idea of stripping and checking the front brakes 'cos its felt strange on the right recently but I ended up changing the right hand swivel and bearings.. The swivel was always pitted but I found the bearings broken up and the whole hub moving under braking.. scarey
