dubbleRR - yes the tailgate is open as the latch is playing up and did not want it shut locked, I will look into why its not opening reliably. Drivers Door was open when doing the procedure!, thanks for the tip. I am slowly getting the hang of these complex beasts. My old D1 V8 is a lot...

My P38 needed a new battery, bought one today, changed the battery and its now on the bump stops and now will not respond to lifting, switch not flashing, compressor working. Tried the free disc and cable EAS unlock and its made the situation worse. Try again tomorrow! Onward

Well....... Tonight I got 246 running and she sounds great. Syncmate from Black Box did the job. suspension works, all lights work and goes thru all gears. Brakes are trash, I dont think ABS is working correctly, firm pedal but brakes rubbish. Onward

Well the P38 has had a good wash and now needs a polish, 1 rear body rub strip put back on. Given the underside a good hose down and cleaned out nooks and cranny's. Surprised to find some shiny black paint on sections of the chassis. Boot floor has has water in it at some point, its rusty but...

Please share you knowledge ;-) I would appreciate it. Anyway syncmate ordered and it may help others out too. I bought Fiat diagnostics back in the day and it payed for its self with one repair and helped a few folks out up here in Northumberland and Newcastle.

Someone somewhere said Nanocom would not Sync BECM to engine Ecu! Anyway its ordered, would like engine running then I will buy a Nanocom. Someone will buy the Syncmate if Nanocom covers it. I intend keeping the P38 as its a Pre Production Cheers

Mark, No engine imobilized warning and no engine mil light Only warning message is airbag. I am waiting for my new battery, get it charged fully and try again. I have gone thru EKA code sequence, and I now have central locking from all round the car, as said only airbag warning. Windows not set...
