Ok Hippo that's a bit for me to go on with, hopefully I will be taking it back to them tomorrow for a fix I will let you know what happened and the cure if it can help anyone else

Many thanks for that Hippo, that is the information I have been looking for There is no loss of power the engine pulls well through the rev range but it almost feels like the gearing is wrong as it runs out of puff at 85 and the engine is then revving at 4k+ The garage think it may be a faulty...

The friend we sold our D1 to has managed to lose a set of keys ! How do you go around getting and programming a new key fob ( two button) and can a replacement key just be cut by a locksmith Your help as always is appreciated Chris
