It's not needed in the UK, the distance between north and south is like the distance between two stations in countries where they have high speed trains, complete waste of money, would be better spent improving lines between towns in the north and other regions with poor links.

I was aware of it but, when I had my V8, I never needed to even remove a rocker cover, I have since learned I must have been very lucky with it in the 4.5 yrs I owned it!

Yes, the "cam break in" sounds quite a scary procedure but, I would have thought V8 Developments would have bench tested it before handover.

Shouldn't a rebuilt engine be "run in" before, using full performance?

It was on mine the horn and other steering wheel functions failed at the same time as, the SRS light came up.

Jap import, have a look at the pics of the ones for sale at Specialist Cars, York, a couple of them are the same.

I assume it was one of their less expensive ones, I wouldn't have been happy if I had paid £12 odd k for it!

I wouldn't have expected that especially, seeing what they sell em for, but seeing the photos of em they look like new cars!
