    Wiring through bulkhead

Cheers Buster, could swear they were metal rivets but it'll be damn helpful if they're the plastic ones like you say!! I'll persevere with it in a bit as it'll be a whole lot nicer to have the wires going through there than anywhere else!

    Wiring through bulkhead

Morning all, Am wiring up some spots I got from Peterborough show, have taken all the feeds I need for the relay and positioned it next to the other relays in the centre fuse panel thingy (90 200tdi by the way). Anyways, trying to make this as neat a job as possible so want to pass the wires...

anyone like to see some gearbox rebuild pics-or not

The kit from ashcrofts is what I was referring to, the 225 quid 5th gear that they sell, just wasn't sure how much of a pain in the ass it would be to install myself. A disco transfer box is my other option like you said, so out of the two, is it easier to swap transfer boxes? Thanks mate

anyone like to see some gearbox rebuild pics-or not

Nice pics mate, was that your first time? I'm tempted to take mine apart and put a different ratio 5th gear in, but it looks like a pretty scary job to do. How long did the complete job take?

Retractable lap belts for side seats, anyone tried?

Afternoon again guys, I have just received a set of retractable lap belts for my rear bench seats. Just working out the best way to mount them, the problem being that the fabric ones can obviously just be bolted down and the strap finds its own way, but the big inertia unit looks like it should...

    Best way to distribute power

I ended up biting the bullet and getting the one from Devon 4x4, if it can take an amp as well as all my gear then it is definetely worth its price!! Boydy, your setup sounds very good! Sadly I don't have the time at the moment to make my own gear otherwise I'd be copying your setup right...

    Best way to distribute power

ok so the two blocks that I ordered were not in stock so I need a change of plan. The fusebox options that have been posted, would these be suitable for running amps through? I can't remember off the top of my head what the fuse sizes are for them but I know they are pretty hefty. Obviously it...

    Best way to distribute power

I've gone with a similar method granted pretty much everything has its own built in fuse. Got 2 4 way distributer blocks designed for amp installations. Same as the fusebox method really, and means I can have a pos distributer and neg distributer so I know the earth is always going to be a good...

    Best way to distribute power

Afternoon guys, I'm in the process of basically neatening up my stuff in the back of the 90, but this is a general car electrics question really. So in the back I have amp for music, computer, invertor, aux lights, charger for radios...etc. What is the best way of getting power to all this? I...

    Refitting quarter window seals

Sorry I wasn't clear, the glass is in, its just the little bead that fits in the rubber seal to finish it all off is being a bitch.

    Refitting quarter window seals

Evening guys, have just tinted my rear windows (innit) so hopefully a little less is on display. Anywho, the rear quarter windows have the rubber with the sort of finishing bead that fits in to make everything tight after the window is back in. I basically had a go at fitting this back in with...

Evening guys, Sorry about the quiet spell, haven't been about, and when I have I've been a right busy bee :( How is the laning going, I still haven't had a chance to go out and have an explore around here (partly due to my lack of decent wheels/tyres!!) but hopefully I'll have funds together...
