Exhaust to engine block bracket, part number?

...evening guys, mine bloody broke on me today, destroying most of the shroud that goes over the top of the exhaust pipe. I need to get a spare bracket on monday but don't know the part number. Anyone else had this bracket go on them? Have managed to bodge it with a piece of copper wire for...

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

torque settings I've found for a 200tdi and 300tdi were 35nm I think, will have to check. And as for the plug size, I'll get the vernier out tonight and see what it is!!

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

Surely it would simply be better to have a socket so that when you put it back in I can torque it correctly. Anyone know off the top of their heads what size the socket needs to be? I read somewhere it was "near" 28 or 29mm, so its obviously an imperial measurement.

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

Believe me, getting oil in my mouth was not my first plan, but anything I tried to pump it with wouldn't budge it, oh well. Am sorting out a correct socket for the sump plug today and I'll get the oil changed asap!

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

ok cool, just going to drain it, only problem is I don't have a socket that fits the drain, I have an adjustable but that obviously means I can't use the torque wrench. Granted this isn't gonna need much draining (me thinks) is there anywhere else I can get a small amount of oil out, as aside...

Too mugh engine oil, worth draining?

Evening guys, I noticed earlier that my engine oil wasn't even registering on the dip stick so I paniced and filled her up, checked, then filled again and obviously was heavy handed the second time. She is about 20mm over the H mark on the dipstick, ironically over the word DANGER. Should I...

Evening all, I have a few 40Ah 12v batteries, they are half the size of regular batteries and in my research into getting a second battery for my 90 I realise I want something like an 80Ah 12v leisure for my second battery. These are deep discharge high cyclic sealed lead acid batteries, and I...
