So would it be sensible to start stripping the head off and order a new head gasket....by the way, my head gasket has no notches in it, so I'm totally unsure of which gasket to order. I guess it'll be worth replacing exhaust and rocker cover gasket too. Cheers disco

I just want to run an idea past everyone, would it be ok to put a drain hole in the bottom of the crossmember underneith the jack holes? that way I can pressure wash and the crap will actually go somewhere!! What sort of size hole will I get away with on an mot, or would it not matter?

Morning guys, I'm sorry to bump this but I'm in a real dilemma, I've got the Macmillan 4x4 in a few weeks and I just want to make sure my gearbox isn't getting shagged!! I've got to take the 90 to the guys that did my clutch and disco transfer box/def transfer box swap to have the transfer box...

Noone have any ideas on this? Could the old oil really have covered up this whine that I am not getting in 4th and 5th? And if so is this noise anything to worry about or is it less damaging to hear the noise if I know there is fresh oil in the box?

Have been looking for ages but does anyone know of some surface mount speaker adapters? I swear you used to be able to get them to mount speakers to mini door cards but I'm struggling to find them now.
