Is it worth changing the chassis on a 90 td5 or replacing it The back half of the chassis is rotten Or would it be better to change to galvanise chassis there is also some rot on bulk head so could do that at the same time.

Changed oil no bits at all in old oil. Handbrake is good not tight I’m now thinking it could be clutch it sounds like a buckled wheel on a pushbike lol and stops as soon as I go over 9 mph in first and second gear, the clutch is rattling when out of gear so might change this first

I have 2008 110 when pulling away I’m getting a slight rubbing/ grinding noise that is only in 1st gear. Jack up all wheels no problem, clutch pressed down no sound Has anyone had this and is it an easy fix lol

Yes a big thank you it works now I’m in the back of beyond in Bulgaria with 3x 110 the old 2.5 that never has problems, a td5 with little problems and a 2.4 puma with lots of problems.the newer the motor the bigger the problems lol

Hi it takes me 31 hours that’s with a 110 and trailer, it’s motorways from France down into Romania then lots of potholes just like here lol

has anyone fitted a temp censer to the gearbox and transfer box, this might sound daft but I do a bit of long distance driving a few times a year with a trailer and it might help me keep an eye on them
