I quite like the Mantec plastic jobby as far as snorkels go. There are some decent looking and cheap steering guards on ebay, never got round to getting one though

I always fancied air ride in mine, then you can raise it for normal use and get it to lower when on the motorway

Have you found the Hawk stuff ok? The alarm flattens my battery over a couple of weeks. If I don't alarm it it doesn't go flat ever

I have both haynes and the LR workshop manual and I have never used the haynes for anything. It takes too long working out what the grainy pictures are of.

If I tilt the seat forwards and the slide it backwards I can just about get to the batteries. I removed the bar from the second seat slider (as I used LR and RX8 rails) wish I hadn't, they would have slid forwards miles

1998 300tdi. I've not looked into it in any depth atm as I'm not trying to sell, but that was what the few I had seen were on for I might get a bit more if I tried, but the prices seem to have dropped a bit atm
