    Door car trim clips

Hey, long time no post.... Wondering if anyone knows where I can find these white door card clips They are from the door cards on a defender, then clip into these So far I've bought three packs of them from ebay and they are all wrong. Turning into an expensive mistake! Thanks

    James's 90

Time for an update. I've had a good couple of days putting stuff back on. It def isn't rioja red any more, but I think I prefer it. Got to put the arches back on when I find the right size rivets, then start on the interior.

    James's 90

I'll probably end up about even I think. Depends on how much I get from it, it's been a pretty great learning exercise even if I make a slight loss. It's been at the paint shop since the beginning of Feb! The guy had to go into hospital so I've been waiting patiently

    James's 90

Ok, it has been frickin ages but I've finally got it back from the paint shop. Got to say I'm not 100% sure that it is still rioja red, but for £800 I am very pleased with the results. Now to get it back together and get it sold

For Sale Defender rear door repair sections

Gonna start a thread for these as the other one is confusing. To fit Defender doors up to the one that is stamped from a whole piece on the Puma. These ones http://www.sp-4x4.com/Rear_Door_Bottom_Repair_Section_upper_section_p/sp-s2u.htm They cost me £30+VAT and would also include postage...

    Road trip planned

Your 110 isn't as old as my 90, but I found AF to be the best as no-one else wanted to cover me for something so old. We were planning on taking the same ferry and then driving around Portugal, but I'm starting a new job soon so I don't think I'll have enough time off

Why have you chosen a defender?

It's pretty low. I'm actually really enjoying not having to stand on a box to work on the engine... though that may be because it's in the garage!

Why have you chosen a defender?

Well in theory its a 1995 3000GT Twin Turbo with 86k miles, but I bought it with the engine in bits after a massive overheat and am slowly putting it back together with my limited mechanical knowledge! And yes, it is rare that it is 100% standard, minus the painted wheels

Why have you chosen a defender?

I see your dilemma, I had the same with mine. It's ok but I don't love it, and it constantly needs things doing to it. There just isn't anything that I do day to day that I think "that would be better in the defender". For what it is worth I am 100% selling mine when it has been painted. I'll...

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

The closest we have is our Facebook page, Mongol Rowley. If you aren't on Facebook I have an album of photos somewhere. Edit: also there are some pretty epic videos on my brothers YouTube page https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCXg4j9OMuammWDdcMMIoGjw We actually cheated a lot and stayed in...

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

I did the Mongol Rally last year in a VW Polo. We didn't quite get to Mongolia, but had an amazing time. Something I'll never ever forget. Expedition wise, my plan is nothing much this year, a trip to a music festival in Lisbon Portugal, then driving across the USA next year. My Defender is...
