Lambda, failed on the MOT this week. Now seeing 15mpg around the island. Anyway..... got the 98 4.6 Jap import Thursday...... here’s a couple of Pics. Ignore the N reg. First impressions to follow, all is not gold!

I usually see 11mpg from my 4.0l around the island. Better than the 9 I used to get out of the 5l V10 .... mind you the P38 puts out 189 bhp and the RS was 721 and 1027nm. Thankfully it’s gone.

Ha! Fixed it or replaced it......;) Sump look a million times cleaner than mine! I wonder what the Jap imports sump will look like? I bet their MOT wouldn’t allow a drop of oil......:)

The local LR specialist is a shooting buddy and I recon he lend them but no reason to think it won’t have the reg by Thursday. The DVLA check had been cashed a week or so ago according to the dealer and documents usually follow soon after.

Will do. I let you know next weekend and hopefully some feedback on condition etc. Pictures don’t always tell the whole story........

The dealer marjon though DVLA haven’t laid an egg yet, it’ll come down Thursday in any case. I’ll find a way to get it the 2.5 miles from the ferry port to my house without breaking any laws! ;)
