Hi I'm new and need a little help

I've always said if you carry heavy loads, or tow a lot, rear SLS is very handy. If you don't however (like me) it's just a money pit for no advantage. The benefit is completely relative to the user, hence we see such debates all the time.

yeh alright posh boy with your fancy levers :D The main reason I would like difflock is the ability to remove a prop and drive 2wd if I need to. But I guess I can just crawl underneath and do that anyway. Just saves getting muddy really lol. Like you say TC works pretty damn well most of the time

I wonder how easy it would be to have a similar cable system the remains under the car, but is accessible just below the drivers door. So you just open the door lean down and give it a pull. I guess the problems are they a) it might get snagged on something and b) it's not much good if you...

    TD5 snorkel

+1 I've got the same. The only issues I've had was the metal cast bit needed grinding down slightly before fitting so the snorkel would fit in. Been fine otherwise. Some say the safari is a higher grade of plastic, well I say I could buy three cheapies before I get to safari money lol

    td5 straight through pipe

I kept mine and glad I did, after a while I put it back on and went for a straight through rear section instead (side exit). Completely different sound. Although I'm now considering putting the middle pipe back on to make full straight through :flame2:

I would have thought 255/65 should be fine. Are you on air or coils at the rear? Black mods on silver does definitely look awesome. I used the nuts supplied by paddocks, they work just fine, but they don't stay chrome very long. I did intend to change them as they rusted, but I can't be arsed tbh.

You going for the flexi arches that need cutting to fit? I'm thinking about doing the same to go a bit bigger

Ok, some more standard height, 265/70s And for Jordan, 285/75 on +2" HD springs (these gave about 2.5% lift) (headlight since sorted) It rubbed on the rear of the front arches when turning and articulating, and on the rear on the rear arches when heavily...
