Hi Jordan and welcome to the forum. My advice to you is don't do it. You will be constantly spending more and more of your hard earned cash on one problem after another. Unless you are experienced with car mechanics and have the time to work on it yourself go and buy something more reliable.

Final update on this and it's good news, kind of. I topped up fuel and it runs sweet as a nut. So clearly my fuel gauge isn't that accurate. Just need to make sure tank doesn't get down to that level again. Thanks to all for your input.
