Before I finally buy I wanted to check what people think about the winch I will probably go for. I've got a 90 and I use it 80% off road, 20% on road. My budget is £500 max and I'll fit myself. I'm pretty much decided on a Warrior Samurai S9500 with a synthetic rope. What do you think ?

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago ie no dial lights. It was an easy fix, the fuse had jumped out. Suggest you have a quick look at that if you havent already done so.
