I think you're right chaps, the 10.9 is probably far more than needed, seem construction strength, but I managed to find the bolts needed from a couple of suppliers in the UK and reading above makes me comfortable I've gone too far and the bolts might be stronger than the tow bar itself! :D

I was lucky the plate did come with it :) It is actually a Vogue (not SE) the wheels were reconditioned by the previous owner and colour coded, I think I quite like the gun metal Vogue ones so if they ever need doing again I'll go back to grey, but as they are as new then will leave the nice...

Hi All - all info obtained but trying to find the right bolts especially the M16x125mm in 10.9 is proving a little harder so if anyone has already bought these from somewhere (ebay not showing any at the moment) please do let me know. I've also managed to download an accessories fitting manual...

You make a very good point :) I dug it out a few weeks ago but didnt note what model it was, sure it was a LR one though... Thats a good shout, I'll give that a go too. Used to be a hardware store in town that would have all this as 1s and 2s but screwfix killed it off :(

Thanks chaps - interesting about the auto fluid change, it would have been the first thing I do. Having driven one for a good 20+ minutes, It was more spritely than I expected, certainly off the mark and pulled nicely if not ever deemed quick of course. Given me a good baseline. Now to find one...
