Hi guys, thanks for help with overheat issue. Now I'm committed to taking engine out. According to Rave, it's engine and box out together or nothing. Surely the motor will come out on its own? Or am I too naive to understand the twisted minds of the P38 design time? Thanks in anticipation.

Read every forum, followed every thread. Just cooked my P38 for the umpteenth time. Changed head gaskets, thermostat, radiator and water pump. I only need to whistle..................... and the rad jumps straight out. Question. Could it be a slipped liner? How would I know? No oil in water or...
